Fripp Island, SC

Fripp Island is a private resort island located off the coast of South Carolina about 10 nautical miles north of Hilton Head. I choose this location because my Papa and Granny, until very recently, owed a home here, so this was a second home to me for most of my life. I love visiting Fripp because every street is lined with beautifully unique houses perfectly placed around the Palmettos and Spanish Oak trees. Fripp is also home to a variety of wildlife, most notably the deer that roam freely around the island and the gators that sunbathe on the golf courses. All this beauty in only 6.5 square miles, all to be seen from the golf carts that are the main mode of transportation on the island. Even after 25 years of visiting Fripp, I still find new unexplored areas of the island to enjoy. I have many fond memories of Fripp and hope to continue visiting for many years to come.
